Some clients would rather be billed directly and pay fees out-of-pocket to the counseling center . This is considered "Private Pay." Some choose Private Pay when mental health services aren't covered in their insurance policy.  Others choose Private Pay for confidentiality and flexibility reasons.   All insurance companies we are aware of require a client to be diagnosed in order to cover services.  This diagnosis would become part of your medical record and only you can decide if this is right for you.  Private Pay offers clients opportunities to seek counseling without a diagnosis at Safe harbor counseling center.  


The average cost per session $125.

 SLIDING SCALE

​We make a portion of time available for clients who have expressed significant financial distress, and through a sliding scale fee, they are able to participate in counseling at a reduced rate based on their income. This is determined on a case-by-case basis.

All payments can be made in the form of cash, check, or debit/credit card.
